According to Buster Olney, the Twins have agreed to a 4-year deal with closer Joe Nathan that will pay him around $11-$12 million per season. You can read more on the front page. This is a thread to share your thoughts on the move.

I am absolutly floored by all the changes the Twins have made this year. We are going to be a better ball club this year and are poised to be great in years to come.

Yeah, the Twins have made a ton of great moves this off-season, and I think the moves that they've made have signified a change in spending. Giving money to Nathan, Cuddyer and Morneau shows that the team is indeed committed to the future.
