FT. MYERS -- The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have optioned four players and reassigned three others to Minor League camp. Right-handed pitchers Julio DePaula and Bobby Korecky and infielders Alexi Casilla and Matt Macri were optioned to Triple-A Rochester.
The following players were reassigned to Minor League camp: Pitchers - Mariano Gomez (L) and Infielders - Chris Basak and Howie Clark.
The Twins now have 42 (nine non-roster) players in camp: 20 pitchers (four non-roster), four catchers (two non-roster), nine infielders (two non-roster), nine outfielders (one non-roster).
