The Twins announced that they will place Kevin Slowey on the disabled list (likely to be back-dated) and will call up Francisco Liriano from the minors to make the start on Sunday in KC.
It looks to me like they wanted him to pitch this series and move others back to pitch in Detroit.
even that Francisco Liriano has not pitched good in his two starts in minors i still like this move i think Liriano will pitch good this year for the Twins i hope Slowey can come bcake up here and pitch good
It probably would be tough to pull off, but I hope I can acquire Francisco Liriano in a fantasy baseball trade. Otherwise I am going after Cole Hamels of the Philadelphia Phillies. Think David Aardsma and Leo Nunez is enough for the other GM to bite?
Good to hear that the Twins have brought back Liriano, especially after Johan Santana was traded away during the offseason. I'm watching Santana pitch right now for the Mets.
