Press: Minneapolis, MN -- The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have placed shortstop Adam Everett on the 15-day disabled list (retroactive to April 15) with a right shoulder strain. Everett is batting .185 (5-for-27) with a double and two RBIs in nine games this season. To replace Everett on the 25-man roster, the Twins will recall infielder Brian Buscher from Triple-A Rochester. In 15 games with the Red Wings this season, Buscher is batting .345 (20-for-58) with two doubles, four home runs and 11 RBIs. Buscher will wear uniform number 32.
