I hate it when sportswriters, optimistic fans and ballplayers say that "It's only April" or that it's early. Yeah games in April don't matter, but you can lose a playoff spot by losing these games in April. I like to see the Twins get off to a good start this month. So far, I can't really complain much since they are what I expected them to be doing right now. With that said, it's important that this team finish April well just so they can enter May with confidence.
I sure as hell wouldn't want to be in the Tigers position. That's for sure so I am glad that the team is winning in April games.
Do you folks feel the same way about games in April?

I understand that April games aren't "the biggest deal", but for me, every win matters. I can't stand seeing a loss even though I know they happen many times each year.
I do like the quote:
You win sixty and lose sixty, you play the season to decide the other forty-two.

I love your attitude, TT.
I want to win April games. Hell I want to win every game. I am not wasting three hours of my life by seeing them lose. I want positive results. It ain't fun ripping the team or savaging them at MVN.com. I want to write and say good things. Losses like Monday just stinks especially against a hated rival.
Anyone that shrugs about these losses is nuts. We all watch sports so our teams can win. That's what it's all about.
I want to win in April since I don't want this to be a mental thing where this team get used to losing especially for a team that is building for the future.
