I can believe they'd trade him either, but look at these comments he made today:

"The Red Sox don't deserve a player like me," Ramirez said. "During my years here I've seen how they [the Red Sox] have mistreated other great players when they didn't want them to try to turn the fans against them."

The good thing is that it looks like Cuddyer is nearly back. They think he could go on a rehab stint by the weekend and join the team on the road next week.

A new Manny rumor:

"I’m hearing that a multi-team deal involving Jason Bay and the Florida Marlins is in the "final stages." This could involve the previously in-place dealings involving Manny Ramirez as reported by our own John Perrotto. Joe Frisaro of MLB.com thinks that Bay could end up in Boston, Jeremy Hermida in Pittsburgh, and prospects flying every which way. My sources agree, though I will update as details become clearer."

You are all over Manny Ramirez tonight, eh TT.

It would be something if the Red Sox really trade him, but I have a hard time believing that it's going to happen. In fact, I bet Manny is a Red Sock next year. Yeah Boston has to pick up his option, but this guy is so good. You can't let a guy like him go away. Guys like him are hard to find. I wish the Twins would have a player like him.

I am kinda laughing at the Yankees in getting guys like Nady, Marte and I-Rod. They are that desperate to go to the playoffs this year. Problem is I don't think any of three are not that good.

I do think they got the better of the Ivan deal. I'm not sure why the Tigers would make that deal and it looks like a lot of their fans don't like the move either.

Everything is going the White Sox way in the first three innings.

They are getting runs. They are making plays defensively. Floyd has been great.

Hopefully, Livan and the Twins can figure it out.

I-Rod has been unhappy with the Tigers this season. He was becoming a problem child. He wasn't really hitting much either. The Tigers are trying to get a reliever to solve their relievers. I am not sure if Farnsworth is the answer even though he did okay at Detroit in his first go-around.
