Big series.

Texas has overachieved so far.

You know they can hit so the Twins starters have to be at their best.

It won't be easy, but the Twins should win the series since they are at home.

Good start by Glen Perkins.

The Twins telecast have been talking up the HR Derby duel between Morneau and Hamilton in that first inning. I expect that to be the theme of the series.

Sux lead the Royals, 6-1.

I don't expect KC to be much of help to the Twins this weekend.

Is it me or is KC disappointing? Shouldn't the Royals be further along as far as growth process?

Good catch by Boggs to end the inning.

I thought Buscher had enough for a base hit, which could have gave the Twins a 1-0 lead.

The key play of the game so far has to be Milton Bradley getting caught stealing. Had Milton stayed and Byrd got his hit, Texas would take the lead, 1-0.

Still scoreless though.

Perkins' success has been getting ground outs so far.

Perkins survives the sixth.

He made some darn good pitches.

I will be shocked if he comes in the seventh inning. Texas made him labor out there. He is at 100 pitches I think after that sixth inning.

Whatever happens tonight, Glen did his job.

I am so proud of him for what he did in that inning. He showed some toughness out there.

Kubel with a double.

The Twins need to score some runs because I sure don't feel comfortable with a 1-0 lead. Texas rarely gets shutout at all with that lineup.
