Twins Territory - TwinsTube: This Can't Happen

Nobody always agrees with Jim Rome, but his point today about Alexi Casilla's mistake in the loss to the Yankees yesterday was dead on. The Twins need to do many things to keep in the race through September, but one of those is doing the little things as the organization has always taught. I hope we don't see this mistake again this season.

That was completely inexcusable. I couldn't agree more. Jim Rome is right, how do you not know how many outs there are every time a new opposing batter comes to the plate? At Yankee Stadium, you can see how many outs there are at a minimum of three locations. The LCD ribbon display on each side of the field and then the outfield scoreboard.

I don't want this to happen again or Rome is right again, the Twins let alone any team guilty of these brain cramps will get burned. Period.

I agree. It shouldn't have happened, but I wouldn't have freaked out at Casilla. He is only 23 years old and he will learn FAST after that game.

I agree with both of you guys...

The mistake shouldn't happen, but you kinda have to expect it with how young most of these guys are. What makes it harder is that it comes in the midst of a losing streak where we're losing control in the division.
