It's official.

Joe Mauer will officially be the starting catcher for the American League on July 15. Mauer was voted in by the fans, and the All-Star game will be his second of his career.

Justin Morneau will accompany Mauer on his trip to New York after being voted in as a reserve by the players. Morneau was just behind the American League's starter Kevin Youkilis for the starting spot.

Last but not least, Joe Nathan will be the third and final player to represent the Twins in the 2008 All-Star game. It'll be Nathan's third of his career, and he was very well deserving. Nathan has 24 saves on the season, and a stellar 1.26 ERA.

This season, the Twins have no players on the Final Vote. Last season, reliever Pat Neshek made the cut but just missed out on making the team.
