I think Liriano will be the one sent down, simply because Bass is out of options and he does have potential....Liriano will work on his control down in AAA, that is his biggest problem....
I am not sure what to think with Span....either we have to cut Monroe (we lose power off the bench if we do) or we send down Tolbert. Tolbert has been amazing in his stint in the bigs certainly more impressive than Span. I don't think that Gardy will be able to find room for Span.
Also of interest, is this quote from Gardy about Kubel: "It doesn't matter who is out there. They can bring in all the lefties they want to and I'm not going to hit for him." We now have a full-time DH!!!!
