The Blue Jays today let Frank Thomas go just a day after he was benched. Thomas is by no means lighting it up, but he had 3 HR, 11 RBI and a .167 avaerage after 16 games.
We may not have room for him, but would you be interested?

I would sign him except for that one thing: we don't have room for him....
We could cut Monroe and sign him but he says he wants to start, which would cut into Kubel's time at DH and stunt his potential....I am not willing to sign a old player who can hit but doesn't have much more of a future that would cut into the time of a young player who can hit and has a good 15 year future ahead of him....
So, my answer: Sign him if he is willing to play only a few games (must cut Monroe) but dont sign him if he wants to start...

I agree, there really is no room...
Jason Kubel needs to start everyday or there is no reason to have him. Thomas wants to start, hense the reason he was let go. I'd take him for a fill-in at DH and a pinch hitter, but he won't do that.
