Royals/Twins (Game 1 Game Thread) 3 Months, 2 Weeks ago

Good evening, everyone.
Sorry for the late game thread, but I came from a Bible Study meeting and we had a traffic jam at George Washington Bridge. Sorry about that.
The Twins go to KC for a three-game set. They did not had a good start to the road trip by losing the series to a bad Seattle team. They were fortunate not to get swept. KC won't be easy. They have played decent ball, and they did take two out of three against the Bitch Sox, and they almost pulled it off against Boston. At this time of the year, everyone is tough. There is no easy matchups so the Twins have to step up here.
Kevin Slowey did not pitch well in his last start so here's hoping he is better than what he did in his last start.

Glad to see the Twins break out offensively, and make the Royals pay for their mistakes. Could have been more, and probably should have been. Still to take the lead with three runs is a good thing.
Let's see how Slowey handles this in this inning.
You want to throw a zero on the board after you get a lead.

Game Summary after three:
-- The Twins were able to take advantage of Kyle Davies' controm and command problems. -- They had the bases loaded twice in the third inning. They scored three runs when they had their first opportunity of the bases loaded, but they could not capitalize on another opportunity with the bases loaded. -- Slowey has been good as he always is when he pitches in the first three innings.

Does anyone get that qeasy feeling that Slowey is going to fall apart and this game will be tied? It's amazing how it happens when you have young starters learning on the job.
