do you think that Slowey could become a DH if he ever fails at pitching? A 2 run single for Slowey and he has a double and a single. Gardy leave him in...he almost has the cycle!

CASILLA!!! A 3 run Triple! I really like Casilla! I always liked him but he has really proven himself this year. And, he looks a lot more comfortable at second base...he is no longer rushing and he is just very calm.....

Morneau: Do you think the Twins are done? I waved the white flag in the weekend. I wasn't surprised that the team was finished. They have been able to survive all season, and now, they have to pay the piper.

I dont think the Twins are done. It is still early and if Hernandez can get moved out in a trade I think we have a good shot. If Hernandez leaves, Liriano would take his place and he has been amazing down in AAA in the last 4 starts! I am not ruling the Twins out of the race quite yet...

Kubel hits #9! He trails Morneau now by only 1 homer....come on Morneau you cant let Kubel take it over! Hit 3 Homers in the next 4 games Morneau come on. I really hope that Kubs finishes a close second though!

I would think that this would be Slowey's last inning and Buscher will probably ph for him in the top of the ninth....

Morneau: What's your take on Dick Bremer? He has been getting killed on KFAN with his homerism, and Reusse has been on him often. I have to admit Bremer has become little too Hawk Harrelson like. I kinda like it when the Twins are on the road since I get to hear other announcers. Bremer is a good baseball announcer, but I rather see him just talk baseball instead of being a homer like Dave Lee.
