A fan asked Dick Bremer about the Twins long road trip at the end of August. Dick thinks this long trip is feasible. On the one hand, the teams that the Twins are facing are below .500 teams. Problem is that this team has not been very good on the road at all. When you are playing on the road for two weeks, it could take a toll on you especially with the Twins not having days off at the end of August.

I expect the Royals to sweep the Bitch Sox this weekend.
Bitch Sox will have plenty of opportunites to feast on the Royals, and that could make a difference in the standings this year. I am surprised that the Royals won the series at Chicago few weeks ago.

Carlos has had a good homestand.
He needs it as he tries to hold on to his job of playing everyday.
You have to figure Denard is going to be the everyday centerfielder when Cuddy comes back. Of course, Carlos is going to make Gardy's decision harder by playing well. At this point, you have to go with Denard as your starting centerfielder. With that said, Gomez can give Gardy something to think about. In this type of situation, competition is a good thing.
