exactly...but we need the offense to give Blackburn support tonight so that he doesnt have to feel like he is:

"Jump on my back and I will carry you.."

That is tough on a young pitcher like Slowey, Bonser, Baker, Liriano, Blackburn...the offense needs to score early runs!!!

More than half the Twins' lineup have .000 BA, of course some of them didn't have the chance to be at the plate often or struggled. Hope that is about to change tonight.

1 hit, 2 SO, 1 IP...no runs, no SB by Figgins!!!!

only 2 pitches out of the Strikezone too!!!

15 pitches- 13 strikes, 2 balls...wow!

I was impressed with the first inning by Blackburn. He hit his spots, and throws harder than I thought.

Hopefully the offense can get going the second time through...
