I was getting nervous that he might walk him and Reyes was going to come in for that jam. I don't mind Reyes, but I don't trust him yet.

No offense, but there is no way Morneau can be a fan of the Wild and the Canucks. Those two teams are in the same division not to mention both teams hate each other going back to the Wild's expansion year. I wish Justin would be a Wild fan for good.

Tough start for Morneau, but he'll come around. Another hit for Delmon.

Omega, you have to give Guzzy a little credit -- he got the first hit in Nationals Park!

This was going to be Pat's job to finish the eighth. Pat has enough experience to start getting it done. He is not in training wheels anymore.

Was anyone bothered that Torii got booed?

I sure was.

Yeah he got his ovation, but for odd reason, he got smattering of boos from the idiots at the game. Very disappointing.

Nah, I was just kidding. I've liked Guzzy for his speed. Too bad he went through string of injuries last few seasons.

I just saw a clip of Torii on deck.

I got the feeling that Torii is not looking forward to face Nathan. Who can blame him?

He stole all the way home on a single, I believe, against Cleveland in 2001 or 2002.
