Yeah, as far as the record later in the season, that first win won;t matter. But its always a nice way to start the season especially with these young guys.

It has also been a good start for the new players which is good.

The Twins seem committed to playing Carlos everyday if you have been reading the papers and keeping up with the team. As long as Carlos plays well, he will be fine. The team needs to let him grow into the job.

I agree, and I think Gomez can really help this team. Obviously his speed can get him on base, but it can also get him into scoring position with a steal and will allow other to see more fastballs.

Another reason why the Twins need this win.

I have been getting called out at MVN.com for being too negative on the Twins so a good story tonight can make people happy.
