You have to say that Livan has done a good job tonight for the most part.

I am not sure what anyone expected out of him, but he has been good. If he can give you one more good inning, that would be awesome.

He certainly has been gritty tonight.

Livan has really been the story of the game tonight.

Talk about Carlos all you want, but you win with pitching, and he set the tone tonight.

He has done a very good job tonight.

He pitched 7 full innings, and he pitched well for six out of seven innings.

What can you say?

Awesome seventh there by Livan. I think they said he has just 83 pitches now. It'll be interesting to see if they send him out there for one more or hand it to Nesehk.

The good thing with Livan, is that he'll for the most part go deep into games. You have to like that with the good bullpen to take over late.

Hopefully we'll extend the lead here...

Pat is being paid to get it done in the eighth. It's his turn.

I want Livan to feel good about himself. The seventh inning was best as it was going to get.

I agree, it'll be interesting to see what happens.

It's to bad that Go-Go struck out there. He knew he shouldn't have gone. Still a good night so far.

Not a bad start for the Twins. Livan surely gives our bullpen a lot of rest, that's what we needed this season.

Gomez, apart from being struck out, looks impressive in his Twins debut.

I don't know about you, but I like it when Livan is angry. He does not seem happy out there. I like that attitude.

We have to live with the ups and downs of Carlos this year.

At least, he is producing and that's all that matters.

You want to win on Opening Night at home period.

I laugh when fans and players think it's not a big deal about what happens on Opening Day, but for a team like this group, you want to win one. An Opening Day win spurs confidence. I am in the school of winning Opening Days period.

The big thing for me with Gomez, is I hope he sticks all season and doesn't have to go down at any point. I think that would hurt him...

Nice job for Livan, Neshek is now in for the 8th.
