The Twins are 3-4, and will now head on the road for the first time this season. The roadtrip starts in Chicago for a series with the Chicago White Sox.

This first game of the series will be the team's home opener, and is an afternoon outing.

I will miss all of this game due to my baseball practice after school, but Twins go and get another win! Vazquez has always been tough on us (up until now)....he never seemed to be able to get Morneau out though so that's a hope!!!

Twins are leading, and Nick is doing well.

There is nothing worst than listening to Ken Harrelson whether the White Sox win or lose.

I swear hitting with runners in scoring position can be like rocket science for the Twins.

Nice to get a hit with runners in scoring position.

White Sox cut the deficit to 3-2.

It could have been worse, but Nick got the strikes and he got a good play from Adam Everett to get out of it.

I wonder if you throw Nick out in the fifth.

You want to get him the win, but his pitch count is high and he did not look that impressive there in the end. On the other hand, do you want to put this game in the hands of Brian Bass?

Vazquez is on a groove. He has pitched well the last few innings.

Nick actually had an easy inning here.

Good job by him finding something extra in him to get it done.

The Twins are going to have to pitch lights out because right now, I don't see the Twins getting any hits off Vazquez the rest of the way.

Nick is gone for the day.

He did a good job I thought outside of one bad inning in the fourth.

This is his second good outing, and that is so important because the Twins are going to have need a pitcher who will step up every five days. At this point, I trust him over the other guys, and that's with due respect to Scott and Livan, who I don't think have the stuff to be stoppers. I think Nicky can though.

Matt Guerrier is on the mound for the Twins.

Mike Lamb has been huge defensively this afternoon.
