Game 6: KC Royals 1 Month, 1 Week ago

After a solid victory last night, the Twins will send out Livan Hernandez to face off against Gil Meche and the Royals for a day game.
Michael Cuddyer has been place on the disabled list and Denard Span called up. Will Kubel fill his roll or will the Twins pull one on us and put Span in the lineup? Also, will Delmon Young move up to the three-spot?
There is no TV, and the GameDay link is on the front page.

it is sad that Cuddy went on the DL....I am wondering when/if Span will get playing time and where he will be batting in the lineup....
I will be gone from 11-2 today so I wont be posting as much on here....but have another great Game Thread guys....KEEP IT UP!!!!
GO TWINS!!!

Why in the world is this game a day game?
I know the Final Four is on tonight, but c'mon?
It's rare that you see day games at the Metrdome on Saturdays unless the Gophers play in September or when FOX has the game.
This was strange.
Plus, you can't see the game on TV since FOX has their first telecast of the season though as teams can't ait their telecast.
It stinks.

I hope Span plays as little as possible with Kubel getting time in right and Monroe being the everyday DH.

Gardenhire said before the game that Go-Go will remain in center all the time with Span moving around the outfield.

Wow, Craig Monroe reached base today. It was a walk.

Justin Morneau with his first dinger of the season!
It has put Twins on top, 3-2.
Top 5th.

Finally, Morneau has hit his first homerun! Hopefully this will sprak something. Its funny how fast someone can get to 5 RBI

Hi, Omega.
I felt that Justin's first hit last night was going to be a start of things to come, and it's good that he got his first home run of the year.
They are going to need him to start well.

Looks like Go-Go has run into his first bad game. So far he is 0-3 with two strikeouts.

How about Tolbert so far both at the plate and on defense. Watch out Harris!

La Velle just wrote this:
It’s a boy! Francisco Liriano’s wife gave birth to a 9 pound, 7 ounce boy yesterday in Miami.
Welcome Kevin Liriano….

This is a must-win game because I don't trust Boof for tomorrow's game. The Twins have to get a series win heading to the Chicago series.

Brendan has not done anything to lose his job, but if Matt plays well like that, you have to play him. This gives Gardy even more options on who to start second. I am glad Matt does well because you know Gardy is dying to get Punto in.
