The Clubhouse is the biggest feature added here at Twins Territory, and allows all users to take full advantage of being in a community and sharing their opinions and work. When you sign up for a username, in addition to getting a name to comment with and a name for the forum, you’ll get a Clubhouse profile.

With your Clubhouse profile, you’ll have many features inside, and there is a chance that we may add a few more features as time goes on. Lets take a look at each individual feature and talk about what you can do with them:

Basic Profile:

First off, you have a basic profile. It is much more in-depth and advanced than what you would have gotten had we not went ahead and added the feature. The basic part that we’re talking about is the tabs on the top left underneath your avatar.

In this area, there will be tabs for your personal information such as your name and interests. Then, there is also a tab for your fan picks which include things like your favorite player and favorite quote. These two things are basically ways for others to find similarities and learn more about you.

Groups:

Another tab on the top left is the groups tab. You have the ability to create and join groups right on the site. When you join a group, you’ll be able to post group bulletins and use the exclusive forum for that group. There are also many other features that you’ll find inside of the group.

We have three different categories, and basically what we’re going for with the groups are for you to create your own fan groups based on interests. They can range from Fan Clubs to just groups about baseball. That is up to you.

When you join a group, it will be visible under the tab in your profile.

Awards:

The final tab on the top left box is the Awards tab. This tab will show all of your accomplishments for everybody to see. Basically what we want to do with this is ‘recognize’ you for being active on the site. To start, we have sixteen awards, but we’ll add more as time goes on.

The basic awards are for the forum, friends and blogging.

Friends:

Continuing down the left side of the profile, you’ll find the Friends area. This area will display all friends that you add. There is no hidden meaning here, friends are simply people who you’re ‘friends’ with and want to show it.

When you add friends, it will show up in your profile and you’ll have easy access to private messaging and their profile.

Gallery:

The final box on the left is the gallery. This is the spot to show your works by uploading your photos for all to see. You have a limit of ten images right now, but we could expand that at a later time. When you upload an image, it’ll show up as a thumbnail and people will be able to click on them to view them in a “Lightbox” popup. FanBlog:

Moving to the right side of the profile now, you have the FanBlog. This is your very own personal blog right on the site and in your profile. You can write anything relating to baseball whenever you want, and it will show up on the FanBlog page, the front page sidebar and in your profile. You’ll also have easy access to your blog stats as the number of entries, comments and hits will all show up.

Forum:

Underneath the FanBlog section is the Forum area. This is just your last five entries in the forum, and a way for others to see what you’re active in and what you’ve been writing about in the forum lately. When you’re signed in, you’ll also be able to see the threads that you have subscribed to.

Board:

The final feature in your profile is the board. This is a little like a ‘Wall’ in that users can write on it whenever they’d like to. It is an easy way to send another user a message and when someone writes on your board, there are options to reply back on your own board and to write back quickly on theirs.

More:

There are other features that you’ll notice by looking around such as the private messaging. Play around with things and look around. You’ll find that there are several things to do with many of these features and several features not listed here.

For more information on any of these individual features, check out Clubhouse Central.
